   I installed skype for my desktop but getting following message...it is showing skype icon but giving following message "The Procedure entry point Get Logical Processor Indormation could not be located in the dynamic link Library KERNEL32.DLL...i HAVE DOWNLOADED THIS FILE kERNEL32.DLL and pasted as instructed but still getting same message....Its very Urgent as I am having Interview at Skype so please Help.

      Hi! You have not provided any details about your system and Skype version therefore it is difficult to give an accurate answer. Anyway, if you use Windows XP, you should update it to Service Pack 3.

   Hi from South Africa
   For 4 weeks now I have unable to sign-on to my Skype account. I have tried creating new e-mail address ,passwords and user-names with out success. I have uninstalled Skype and reinstalled it-even different versions.
   I am using the web-version which is Ok for chats but even after downloading the plug-in , my webcam won't work.
   I sincerely hope that you can advise me on what to do. Thank you.

      Hello dear Stuart! Please provide the exact error message while trying to log in to Skype for Windows using the same credentials that allow you to log in without any problems to Skype for Web. Also, using Internet Explorer check access to Skype and paste here the report’s URL.

         When using your facility to check the connection the only error is :www.skypeassets.com.
         Computer to long connects to server.
         I am signing in on www.skype.com and one of the user names is s***1 . Password s***1.
         This works on the web version. I have also tried creating new accounts and passwords without success.

            Hi! First of all, please do not share your login credentials. Never! With no one! Even the official support staff does not require this data.
            
            Well, about your error: seems your PC was temporary blocked by Skype due to suspicious activity. In order to solve this issue, you should contact official Skype Support and tell them about your problem. In case you don’t know how to contact Skype Support, please read this article.

               Good morning my time. Thank you for your reply. You are quite correct about divulging sign-on details. However, it being after midnight last night and also being very frustrated over the last 5 weeks I am prepared to take the risk.

                     I am now in touch via e-mail with Microsoft/Skype. First advice was exactly the same as on site to rest password. now suggestion is to chat to Chat Rep. but I have to sign on to do that. not very useful advice yet. I will keep in touch.

                     I am pleased to inform you that I now have the full Skype desktop version.
                     I didn't have to do anything , they obviously have just sorted themselves out.
                     even have the cam working and several new features seem to be appearing

   On http://www.skaip.org/skype-installer-for-windows I see, that there are also special versions for Win XP/Vista. Do you plan to provide also old versions of these?

      Hi! I started downloading and “collecting” SkypeSetupFullXp.exe installers from 7.25.0.106 (that should be one of first public SkypeSetupFullXp.exe versions). However, since nobody requested these installers I do not upload them to server. Please, let me ask you, why do you ask about it?

    I use Windows 10 on my desktop. I installed latest version of Skype apps but it changes the resolution to a smaller display. Have to reset resolution each time computer restarts. Please help.

       Hi! Perhaps this is due to the fact that you are running Skype in compatibility mode. Right-click on Skype shortcut, choose «Properties», go to «Compatibility» tab and untick all enabled options. Then click «Change settings for all users» and do the same.

    I really need help to solve my problem, "skype couldn't connect on skype.." I tried with many solutions published by videos youtube but not solved this problem, I have XP and downloaded version accepted by skype since official page where describe features, skype is not compatible with xp since august? or can be temporal problem from skype ?passed days and is equal .

    I have issues on my skype, it keeps on loading the blue wheel/circle. I am on windows 10 and I am using 7.31 and 7.40 which is recommended by my employer. Any suggestions?

    wasn't happy when I went to use Skype and found it was a Black Background, I uninstalled it and the downloaded the latest version and now happy to see it is a much nicer background but what irks me is that you cannot see immediately your contacts or who is online or not, this is the most important feature, is there any setting that enables to have our contacts listed and with the status of who is online or not

                I've just finished the download for 8.14.0.10....I have to put in the contact's name to see if they are online or not but I'd like to have it like the old version where it was pinned to the side and you saw automatically who was on.. is that possible?

                   Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what exactly you mean. But if I understand you correctly, hover your mouse over the list of contacts and scroll down to see all you contacts and their statuses. Also you can sort them by "Active" to see online contacts first. If I'm wrong, please show me some screenshots.

    My mom, lives abroad, She has an old Skype phone that she used in the past with the old versions of Skype (7.3). Now, When she try to login to Skype, Skype tells her that she is using an old version of Skype an will not let her login, she must update.. Over teamviewer, after I updated Skype to the new wersion 8.3, her Skype phone no longer rings. She can still use the Skype phone but she does not know that we are calling her because the phone does not ring anymore. Her old Skype phone uses an app called "skypmate" that is no longer supported. Do you know if we can buy for her a new Skype phone that will ring with all the new versions of Skype. Phone Name and model will be appreciated.

    please advise me, i have tried all the versions no one work properly on my window 7. the 2017 to 2019 after installing, it will display the application was unable start correctly .[0x0000005]. and 2016 down display minimum on my screen and unable to login.

    My Laptop has Window 7 ultimate. For this I downloaded Skype 8.58.098 but after trying the installation I get the message that this version of Skype is not supported by this Laptop.
    Earlier I have been using Skype for a long time on this Laptop and suddenly it got uninstalled and now not installing.
