Released a minor release of the free program Skype for Windows, which fixes some critical bugs. One of them is Skype crash during cutting text in chat box. On the other hand, after updating to Skype for Windows, some users began to complain that the messages do not appear in chronological order (as a temporary solution, you can install a previous version).

I'm on windows 10 - build 7.17.0.105 was the one that introduced the crash when I cut to the clipboard. It is definitely not resolved by updating to this version.
