With the latest updates, Skype brings virtual interlocutors named "Skype bots" which will help users to automate various processes and perform different tasks. Skype bots are available only for messaging, but the developers promise that in the future bots will become available for audio and video calls.
At this moment, Skype bots are available only for users from such countries as Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and US (of course, in the coming days, the bots will be available in other countries). Also should be noted that Skype bots are available only for latest versions of Skype for Windows, Android and iOS.
Usually you can add Skype bots using "Bots" tab, but if do not see it hence they are not supported in your country. Anyway, below you will find some Skype bots and link to add desired bot to your contacts list.

How to defend against fake bots?
In the near future it is possible that the intruders will try to fake their profiles so that people thought it is a real bot. To prevent this, remember that:
Skype bot's avatar is hexagon-shaped (while normal avatars are round)
A gray tick mark is present next to the bot name
At the Skype bot profile should be the inscription “Skype Certified”
What bots are able to do?
In the profile of each bot is displayed information about its capabilities and to which data it has access. Typically, bots are able to send and receive photos and instant messages. Also, they have access to your name, and Skype login and any messages or content that you or other members of the band left in the chat.
You choosed a wrong way to advertise your site. Furthermore, you even bother to look which bots are listed here (I mean that "the same list of bots for skype" it's a lie).
A bot I liked to add, although it did not appear in this site, was Caption Bot. It gets a photo you send it and tries its best to send a textual description of it; awesome for blind people, such as myself, who use the internet, since screen reader programs, such as the free NVDA for pc or Talkback for Android cannot, yet, describe images. And I have heard of a chatbot called Mitsuku, but did not find, at least until now, a direct link to add it and direct links are the only way I can preview a bot since I am not from one of the supported countries...
Hello André! Thank you for useful comment. It seems that Caption Bot was developed a little later, this is why it was not listed here. From now I fixed this thanks to your comment.
One question:
Is there even more Skype Bots?
Or is there maybe a side where hundreds are listed?
Because I would have irgentwie loving with pleasure even more Bots, and I stand shortly before 500 Legit to contacts, and now the Bots could "help" me to get 500 now though xD I am no famenötiger person, but on 500 one can be quite proud
please around answer

Hi Nils! Of course, there exists more bots but you should trust them before sharing your profile details. This is why here are listed only official bots.
About your desire to get 500 contacts, I recommend you to look for posts in the Language learning section from on official community. I'm sure, there you'll find many friends.
ps. Apropos, I can help to increase your counter by +1, just add me to contacts list (username: SkaipOrg).
Hi Michelle! Right-click on her name, choose «Block This Person», next check the «Remove from your Contact list» and «Report abuse» options, then click the «Block» button.
Hello!
How do I stop the "built-in certified Skype bot" on my Android sending me these silly notices about who is logged in at the moment and telling me to "click on a name to say hello"? This is very annoying as I only want to be noticed if there actually is someone looking for me!
Thanks on forehand,
Nico
Thanks for the advise! I have now removed it from my contact list and hope it will not come back! We are having a sunny sommar day here in Mozambique... Cheers!
Hello there! Is it possible to add my own Skype-certified bot, Metagon (In the utility category, also it has a website at https://metagon.cf)? Thanks a lot!
I'm trying, without any success, to find it manually by the ID "Metagon" in the Bots Directory. Can you please give a direct link to your bot in the Bots Directory?
Oh. Bot Directory page is closed and is no longer updated. On https://bots.botframework.com/:
> The Bot Directory is no longer accepting new submissions. Add your bot to the Bing channel so users will not only be able to find it, but chat with it too.
I mean you can still list that since my bot is Microsoft-verified anyways, but it's up to you.
The difficulty is that all information about bots on this site is automatically taken from the official website. I did not even add my own bot EmoticonBot to this list. But especially for you, I made some changes to the script and added your bot. If you want to add or edit some info about your bot, please let me know.
