+179), # ↑On history, to be clear, you're saying that you can install Skype on a new machine, or a new Windows profile, where are there no previous Skypes, login, and see that an entire year of Skype history is eventually synced? If so, that has to be rather new. The only thing I've seen about a year was recently in a section of the FAQ pertaining to the upgrade from 7.x. I thought it pertained specifically to that process only, but apparently not.
Will I lose any conversation history when I upgrade?
Your conversation history from the last year will be displayed in the upgraded client. Older history will be transferred to a local file on your machine
+1207), # ↑As for history, yes, I tested it on a clean virtual machine (thus, Skype was not installed before). In my case Skype allowed me to see messages up to August 7, 2017. If I remember it right, after one year I will still see the history up to this date.

In the prior version it required a password every time i logged in.
At work we often move to different stations depending on work demand.
When i work on a different station, whom ever is sitting at my original station can open skype and it automatically logs me in. This is a pain.
What is the solution for this.

+3), #We have some HTML code in which we want Skype 8.25.0.5 to be the default dialer but it does not matter what way I try, callto or tel it does not default to 8.25.0.5 but instead the Windows 10 Skype app. Anyone ran across this? I even try to do search in default apps but 8.25.0.5 version does not appear and no setting on the actual application. Anyone found a way to work this in?

Hello All, I am running on version 8.27.0.85, i try to find a skype main.db viewer for main.db under skylib folder, but all skypebrower or main.db view is not working with the new version of skype, would you recommand one for me that is workable
