    They seem to have taken out sending messages to non-cloud-based group chats, requiring you to upgrade if you try to talk in one (the message is not sent). Avoid like fire if you use this functionality.

    Is there an incompatibility between Skype 7.27, Vista, and IE9? Since downloading the latest Skype update in August, there is no longer any sound when I use Skype. Video is OK, webcam audio is working, speakers are working, but no sound. When I try to do the Skype Echo test, it either rings just once, then cuts out, or I get the message that Skype has stopped working.

    Any ideas/comments?
