Which are the same type of messages that led up to Skype shutting down previously, it's still early though, as it has been shutting down any where from 1 to 4 hours.
It it shuts down I'll uninstall it and try your recommendation.
Regardless, I will keep you informed.
Thank you,

), # ↑Yesterday I emailed you that I loaded ver 7.22.32.109. Now it's been almost 24 hours and still has not shut down. I received one call last night and just made a call a few minutes ago and all is still functioning as it should. However, I still get two of the following similar messages every hour and twenty to twentyfive minutes:
Windows cannot query DllName registry entry for {CF7639F3-ABA2-41DB-97F2-81E2C5DBFC5D} and it will not be loaded. This is most likely caused by a faulty
registration.
I do not like this type of message. Do you have any recommendations for rectifying this issue?
I loaded three different versions yesterday that all did the same thing, they could not connect. I'm thinking this is something on Skype's end that simply does not permit any connection to versions that have known issues???
Please advise.
Thanks again,
Don

), # ↑In order to help other users to find solution to similar problems, I would want to move our email conversation on blog as continuation to your initial thread. Can I do this?
About your error: first of all, you should to reset settings of Internet Explorer (I know for someone it may sound strange, but believe me, MSIE is a important system component and like other programs, Skype use its functions). So:
1) Run command line (cmd.exe) as Administrator
2) Paste following command and press Enter:
Reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\{CF7639F3-ABA2-41DB-97F2-81E2C5DBFC5D}" /f
3) Also paste following command and press Enter:
Reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\{7B849a69-220F-451E-B3FE-2CB811AF94AE}" /f
4) Press the key combination Win+R, type
inetcpl.cpl
and press Enter5) Open "Advanced" tab, click "Reset"
6) In the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" dialog box enable "Delete personal settings" option and click "Reset"
7) When Internet Explorer finishes applying the default settings, click "OK" and restart your PC
8) Launch Skype
ps. If the error will occur again, please tell me which version of Internet Explorer and Windows do you use.

), # ↑I rebooted at 2 pm, made two calls and hoped to have received a call but no luck. Right now I'm running at 800 Meg memory usage, normally with this many windows open I would be at 1.2 Gig, I can't believe the huge difference. I'm ecstatic!! And of course you can move this to a blog, I'm illiterate about them as I do not get into the social media stuff, I abhor it.
If you like you can call me ***.
Let me know.
Thanks so much!!!

), # ↑About, "instead of HKLM it should be HKEY". I think this is wrong, because HKLM is an abbreviation of HKey Local Machine and
Reg delete
command will use it as the right path.0
